What is H1N1?

The new H1N1 flu is an infection that affects men by a flu-like virus which usually infects animals (pigs).
In the current outbreak, the virus isolated from sick are viruses that belong to the family A H1N1.

In this case, it is not swine flu. This is a virus infection that developed in pigs but now is spread from person to person.

This virus is different from the H1N1 seasonal flu viruses of human origin that circulates normally.
